“All Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” likewise every successful person has certain habits that make them successful. But there are few habits which make you unsuccessful in life.

Start A day Being Reactive

Most unsuccessful people can’t control their day. At the beginning of the day, they start checking their cellphones and start reacting. If they receive their salary in their bank account, then they become happy. If their loved one forgot to send a good morning message then they become sad etc. This is the worst habit to start a day with reacting on things. Being proactive is a very important habit. To get rid of this habit always put your cell phone on airplane mode while going for sleep or hide all notifications. Then whenever you wake up in the morning, don’t see your phone. Instead, do a morning ritual. Like meditation, reading affirmation, visualizing your ideal life, exercise, reading a good book, and writing a Journal. Do all these things for 6 minutes at least. Try it for a week. You will see the difference in the quality of your life. After doing all these things you can see your mobile and notifications.

No discipline

Many people wake up in the morning at a different time every day. Undisciplined people wake any random time in the morning. Suppose you are a boss and you hire a person. If that person comes office at any random time then what will you do? You can’t get your success if you can’t wake up at the same time a day at least. Something always going in life, sometimes you sleep less than 8-hour sometimes more. But it shouldn’t affect your time. You should wake up at one time. Try to get up 5 am to 7 am if you are working in your goal.

Stress

Many people start taking stress about the day in the morning. Like that say one more day I have to go for work for 8 hours. One more day to stuck in traffic. Ohh I have to get up now🤔. Instead of all the bad things in life, you must be grateful for your life. As you can breathe you are alive. Your near and dear one are alive. Feel gratitude for your life, family, work or your health. Instead of taking stress every day feel gratitude every day.

Waste Morning Hours

Morning time is the best time for us to be more productive for our brain. If you want to do something, then do it in the morning. You will complete your work 2 times more speed as compared any other time. Many people waste their morning time in social media, newspaper or just sitting and thinking. You should read the newspaper but when your brain is super productive in the morning then why waste its energy to read what’s going wrong in the world. You should utilize your full efficiency if brain. Your life becomes wonderful when you stop complaining about your work or job. Instead of this, you start using your precious morning hours working on your business idea or something good. You can use social media or read the newspaper later in the day.

Snooze the alarm

Many people use snooze or set too.many alarms to wake up in the morning. Many people see alarm and they use it like an option like I have to wake up at this time or after 15 minutes I should wake up. This way people start their day by being reactive. Use one alarm and wake up. Take 7-8 hour sleep.

The Myth of Multitasking

Mastery requires focus and consistency.we are capable of doing two things at the same time. It is possible, for example, to watch TV while cooking dinner or to answer an email while talking on the phone.
The human brain cannot perform two tasks that require high-level brain function at once. Low-level functions like breathing and pumping blood aren’t considered in multitasking, only tasks you have to “think” about. What actually happens when you think you are multitasking is that you are rapidly switching between tasks. What is impossible, however, is concentrating on two tasks at once. Multitasking forces your brain to switch back and forth very quickly from one task to another. So when you think you are multitasking you are actually switching your goals. This wouldn’t be a big deal if the human brain could transition seamlessly from one job to the next, but it can’t. Multitasking forces you to pay a mental price each time you interrupt one task and jump to another. In psychology terms, this mental price is called the switching cost.
The power of choosing one priority is that it naturally guides your behavior by forcing you to organize your life around that responsibility. When the brain tries to do two things at once, it divides and conquers, dedicating one-half of our gray matter to each task. The work also reveals that the brain can’t effectively handle more than two complex, related activities at once.
So start focusing one thing at a time if you want your best performance in each work.multitasking is originally a computer term which is only for the computer not for the human brain.

The Disease of Failures

The word “EXCUSITIS” comes from the word “excuse”. As making excuses all the time in your life you may believe that your excuses really exist and it is called The disease of the failures or excusitis. Every “average” person mostly suffering from this disease in any of their life aspects either financial or in a relationship or any other like the aspect of health. These excuses are in the group with Limiting tiny Beliefs and Self Told-Lies which you continuously telling to yourself in your mind, and they try to diagonal your goals and dreams from converting into reality. But always remember that You are the only one who can cure yourself of this disease.
Check yourself are you suffering from this excuse making disease or not? The most common excuse sentences are: I don’t have time, I don’t know how It’s too hard, I can’t afford it, It’s already been done, will do it later and last but not the least is Other people will judge me. What if my friends think I’m stupid for doing this?
We always have time to do the things we love or enjoy doing (social media) or the things we see the value( like shopping) in doing.
Saying always to others and yourself that I don’t have time to learn a new language or new techniques, I don’t have time to do yoga or exercise and get fit, I don’t have time to start a business, I don’t have time to do this or that or anything else all are lies which you try to make others convinced that you haven’t enough time to do work that’s why you are living the way which you can’t change. how is it exactly that you don’t have enough time?
Think of everyone who has ever achieved greatness like Archimedes, Michelangelo, Shakespeare and anyone else you can think of who was successful in life with having 24 hours in a day Same as you, not even a single extra second. This means that finding the time is not the issue. If history-making persons can find the time to make that history then you reasonably can find the time to do things done on time. If you have two important tasks, start with the biggest, hardest, and most important task first. Try to Discipline yourself to begin immediately and then to persist until the task is completely done before you go on to something else. If you prioritize focusing without distraction for a significant amount of time on the cognitively demanding task being at the core of your workplace or any area of the life there’s a huge advantage to be gained.
Your success in life is the sum of your habits. So try to Decide exactly what you want, Write it down, thinking on paper is critical, Set a deadline on your goal and List the steps necessary for the achievement of the desired goal. Organize the list into a plan (priority and sequence). Take action on your plan immediately. Do something every day to move closer to that goal by making small stupid goals. There is never enough time to do everything, but there is enough time to do the most important things. By organizing the priorities you can have much more time for some productive work. This time management also helps to get rid of ”having no time” excuse!!!
Every Successful person makes the commitment to dedicate their free time to the pursuit of learning (instead of relaxing in front of the television.) And they stick to their promise of learning new things. Where “I don’t know how it’s too hard”, this is the second excuse most people talk about. With a small amount of planning, you can learn any skills or anything whatever it is doesn’t matter, to a sufficient level with around 20 hours and often less of concentrated, focused effort. With the mindset of learning, there are countless things you can learn in your spare time by using deep work strategy. Deep work strategy is the type where you need to plant out in really deep to get the work done. It takes time, though, inspiration, motivation, and passion. It may result from of best outcome in a little period of time. But more often you need to spend enough time on what you are doing, without any distraction of social media or tv or mail checking or frequently notification checking while working.
I can’t afford it, this is a 3rd most common excuse. Don’t waste your energy of brain in making excuse like this. Most people use “I can’t afford it” as an excuse for being afraid to step up and work on their challenges. Those who make this type of excuse easily seem to have some other sort of excuses like” not having enough money” or “no smart brain” of their own. It is hard to be motivated if you don’t believe in yourself. If you say you can’t afford it that means you are not disciplined enough to get what you want. Find a source of discipline when you want something. We all lack discipline at times, but the difference is that people, who are wealth creator, realize the lack and seek out a way to find the discipline needed for by putting optimum efforts to make desire money by maintaining disciple of saving and investing their saved money by learning how to invest and how to grow money from money. Overcoming fear is one step in the process of accumulating wealth. Only saving doesn’t create much more wealth. Having one source of income is a bigger risk than taking a risk on doing something on your own like generating passive income source. But always remember You must have an attitude of gratitude.

  1. Excellent advice! I would add prayer to the list of activities you recommend. If we are centered on God, day to day changes in our circumstances do not impact our emotions to the same extent.

  2. I think it’s important to develop a habit first thing in the morning, eg, exercise or meditation to start the day right. I’m also most productive in the morning.
